Essential Hair Boutique began in Feb of 2007. After travelling around the world and seeing stunning hair extension salons, we decided to bring that back to the New Zealand marketplace, providing quality 100% human 'euro' hair extensions. Gone is the idea that extensions aren't safe and damage the natural hair. We have created a business where YOU can achieve beautiful long Hair Extensions with an state of the art Cut and Colour service to match and complete the 'Celebrity Hair Look'. At Essential Hair Boutique, we don't just apply hair extensions, we maintain them, giving each one of our clients great long term wear. We also educate our clients on hair extensions and promote the right hair care products to maintain longevity of our client's new hair.We have many clients that travel to see us from all over New Zealand, because of our excellence and skill in hair extensions. International Hair Extension Specialist/Salon Manager

As the salon manager, Debbie is a business women, having professionally worked as a beauty therapist for the last 10 years, she draws from all her experience. She won many awards in her field, and has extensively internationally trained in all aspects of hair extensions and has been applying and working with extensions for the last 4 years. For Debbie 'great hair is not just an application, but an art' and she is walking proof, that gorgeous extensions that are safe on your natural hair, do exist. Debbie is on-goingly travelling to different parts of the world to learn the latest methods and techniques being introduced worldwide and bringing them back to Essential Hair Boutique. She trains all staff in the latest methods of applying extensions, making sure they attain the attention to detail and perfection in their extension applications. She loves to see the look of 'joy' on women's faces as their short hair turns into beautiful long hair in a matter of hours! 

Kelly Matthews

Advanced Senior Stylist/Hair Extension Technician

Introducing Kelly, a very accomplished advanced senior stylist who draws from 7 years experience and is extremely competent in all aspects of hairdressing. She is known for her excellent colour collection work. Kelly is passionate about colouring and hair treatments. She is also thoroughly trained in all aspects of hair extensions and enjoys working with them to see the transformation it gives. Book with Kelly if you would like a complete make-over, she will match your colour perfectly and ensure you walk out the door with celebrity hair! Kelly works on Tuesday/Thursday - Saturday, with late night on Thursday.

Charelle Walker

Senior Stylist/Hair Extension Technician

Charelle is an amazingly talented senior hair stylist and draws from 3 years experience. She has had extensive experience in both areas and has demonstrated very unique work. Charelle is excellent at cutting and styling your hair, she will ensure you get the best hair style that will suit you. She has natural creative flare, which allows her to consult with all types of clients, giving them a fantastic new image and the latest in hair style ideas. If you're looking for a change or advice on a new look, book in with Charelle, she will give you the makeover you've always dreamed of, plus her personality plus is infectious! You will find Charelle in salon from Tuesday - Saturday with two late nights on Wednesday and Thursday.

Eilina Audisho

Intermediate Stylist/Hair Extension Technician

Eilina has completed full certificate in hair dressing at MIT (level 4), where she highly achieved in competitions. She was 'crowned the winner' of the 'Best overall Cut and Colour Challenge!' She is passionate about hair and loves working in the industry. She will make you feel right at home and is a very talented up and coming stylist. She is training in all aspects of extensions and will soon be applying them in salon. Eilina is in the salon, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
