Q. Would hair extensions work on my hair?

We recommend you come in for a free consultation with us which will take 20mins, where we can discuss what you’re wanting to achieve with hair extensions and go over any questions you may have. We will then be able to see your hair and let you know what method of application will best suit your particular hair. Please note that we treat each client individually and because everyone hair is different we will advise you on the most suitable method for you and your lifestyle.

Yes. We will match your colour perfectly. Custom blending is our specialty. We can also in some cases colour the hair extensions to provide a perfect match to your hair. We also have a range of different coloured silicon links, to ensure that they are secretly concealed and undetectable.

Q. Do you recommend me getting my hair coloured first?

Yes. It’s a great oppourtunity to refresh your hair colour before added extensions and this is recommended. You may be thinking of changing your hair colour or just needing your re-growth touched up, if so we advise you book for your colour service and then follow by the hair extension application.

Q. Should I book for a Cut after application of my new extensions?

Yes. We recommend you book in for a Hair Extension Cut and Style after application of your new extensions, this will ensure they sit perfectly and the length can be cut to your desire. Also we offer a style, so you can either have your new extensions straighten or curled.

Q. How long will the hair extensions last for?

The hair itself can last for 6mths. The more you maintain your extensions the better they will last. After application we will give you an Instruction Sheet showing you how to best care for your new hair.

Q. How long does my natural hair have to be?

We recommend that your natural hair is at least 5cm long in length.

Q. Where does our hair come from?

Our hair is 100% Euro human hair. It comes from all over Europe. After trying and testing many different types of hair we have found Euro hair to be of the finest quality and softest hair. We strive to supply only the best hair on the market today and our hair is made to last.

Q. Will extensions damage my own hair?

No. The procedure is a painless and a totally risk free. Our unique technique will not be harmful to your hair in any way, which ensures our clients keep their natural hair in good condition. When you come for maintenance we recommend at this time having a hair treatment on your natural hair. We also offer a Hair Ritual service, which are recommend every 2 wks when wearing hair extensions, to keep them in the best possible condition.

Q. How long does the procedure take?

It varies depending on the individual. If you have fine hair of medium density it takes approximately 1 - 2 hours, however, if you have thicker hair it take up to 2 - 3 hours.

Q. Is there any Maintenance required?

Yes. Depending on how fast your hair naturally grows will determine when to Maintenance needs to be done on the extensions. Generally, if you have slow growing hair they can last up to 2mths. If you have medium to fast growing hair they will last up to 6wks. This is because the silicon links start to become visible if left longer than the correct time as they grow out, also if maintenance if left too long, you risk the chance of causing stress to your natural hair and matting can acure.

Q. I have curly hair but I prefer to continually straighten my hair. Can I use a hair straightener on the extensions as well?

Yes we recommend straightening the extensions with a GHD straightener. When doing so, you must avoid touching the silicon links with any hot appliances. Just be careful to avoid these.

Q. Can I brush my hair with extensions in?

Absolutely, you are encouraged to use a "Loop Brush" (can be purchased from us) which provides unique and ongoing benefits from your scalp to the ends and does not get caught on the silicon links. We recommend brushing 3x times a day. Please be aware that over aggressive brushing can cause damage. We also recommend using a small comb when extensions are wet and combing through before drying.

Q. Can I leave my hair to dry naturally after shampooing and conditioning?

You must diligently ensure that the roots of your extensions are dried thoroughly. The ends can be left to dry naturally.

Q. What Product do you recommend for me to take care of my extensions?

We recommend the X-Ten Products, they are designed to be use on extensions. They can be purchased individually or together as a pack, which includes a loop brush. We also recommend using a nourishing hair mask on the extensions twice a week, leave this on for 5 mins to treat the extensions and then rinse through. Make sure you do not condition the roots of your extensions as this may cause some of the strands to loosen.

Q. Can I sleep on wet hair?

Always before lying down or going to bed you must ensure your hair is thoroughly dry and either put into a plait, braid or pony tail. This procedure will help prevent any tendency of your hair getting tangled during sleeping periods. We also recommend using a silk pillowcase to sleep on, this ensures the hair does not tangle while sleeping and can extend the life of your extensions.

Q. What if I no longer want to continue having the extensions if my hair has grown to the desired length?

Make an appointment and we can remove the extensions for you. You should never attempt to remove the extensions yourself as this can damage and put strain on your natural hair.

Q. Points to be aware of…

Please note that we guarantee our hair extensions for 7 days from the day of application . If you have any issues with the application of your hair extensions within the 7 day period you may return to the salon and repairs will be made free of charge. As we cannot control how you care for your hair, any damage caused beyond these 7 days will be your responsibility and any repairs you require will be made at the rate of $100 per hour or $50 per 30mins.
